About Chanel Olive MC

Known for my warm and positive presence, I bring elegance and a welcoming atmosphere to every event, bridging cultures and adapting gracefully to any unexpected changes. Hosting is more than a role — it’s a passion. I care deeply about bringing your vision to life and creating meaningful moments. Every event is unique, and it’s an honour to support you in making your occasion everything you’ve dreamed of.

I host a wide range of events including corporate events, conferences, launches, awards, galas, charity and community events, private functions, and weddings, ensuring each one is engaging and professionally executed. I provide event management including run sheet and script development as well as on-the-day coordination, filling a need that I observed at many of my events. I also offer media presenting, drawing on experience hosting a TV show, presenting for a TV commercial, and providing voice-over for radio campaigns.

I also deliver keynote talks and contribute to panel discussions including as a moderator. I share my journey to self-acceptance as an Australian-Filipino woman which has been presented globally on the TEDx platform. Drawing as well on my experience as a business owner, counselling and ministry graduate, and former beauty queen, I bring professional expertise and lived experience to every engagement — adaptable to the topic, audience, and format of the event.

    Full-service hosting and event management ranges from $1,499–$1,999, depending on scope and level of support required.

My TEDx Is Out Now Globally

Dying to Belong (Striving to find belonging) is a powerful and deeply personal TEDx talk about the hidden cost of trying to fit in and my journey to finding myself. Growing up Filipino-Australian in regional Australia in the 90s, I spent years reinventing myself to earn belonging through appearance, achievement, and approval. What began as a desire to fit in slowly turned into striving, self-rejection, and an eating disorder that nearly cost me my life.

Through four defining seasons: Belonging, Striving, Acceptance, and Wholeness, I share my story of struggle, survival, and transformation. With honesty, faith, and hope, I aim to inspire audiences to reconsider what it truly means to belong and to have the courage to flourish, align with their purpose, and dream boldly at any stage of life.
